いそがしかった

こんばんは！

さいきんいそがしかったから、つかれっています。そして、あまり時間がなくて、ブログを書きませんでした。でも、ひまな時にたくさんかきましょう！

（これが日本語でかくのがあまり分かりません。。。）

But part of the reason I haven't been posting anything is because I didn't realize that there are no 3 prong electrical outlets for me to plug my computer into. Everything is just 2 prongs (I guess they don't use the grounding prong), but today a friend let me borrow his adapter until I get one of my own.

(and now to translate the above =P)

Lately I have been busy, so now I am tired. Also since I haven't really had much time, I haven't written on my blog. However, when I am free I will definitely write a lot!

二本にいます！

おはよう！

今日本にいますけど、台風があります。さいきん雨がふって、風がつよくふいています。そして、ちょっとじさぼけですから、つかれっていて、あまり長いポーストを書きません。じさぼけじゃない時に、もう長いポーストを書きましょう。

I am in Japan now, but there is also a typhoon. Lately it has been rain, and the wind has been strong. Also, I'm a little jet lagged, so I'm tired and I won't be writing a very long post. When I'm not jet lagged, I write a longer post.

Missouri Botanical Gardens

こんばんは！

昨日母と兄と一緒にMissouri Botanical Gardensにいきました。アメリカの中で一番いい庭です。そこでぜんぶはとてもきれいで、来週末に日本の祭がありますが、ぼくは日本にいます。でも、家族は行くつもりです。庭にいくのは楽しかたですが、ちょっと暑いでしたから、後で私たちはつかれっていました。

大きい鯉がいました！(There were big koi!)

そして、一週間ぐらいに日本に行きます！とてもワクワクしています！

Good evening!

Yesterday, I went to the Missouri Botanical Gardens with my mom and my older brother. The gardens are the best in America. At the gardens everything is very pretty, and there will be a Japanese festival next weekend, but I will be in Japan. However, my family is planning on going. Going to the gardens was fun, but we were tired afterwards because it was somewhat hot.

Also, I go to Japan in about a week! I'm really excited!

モールに行きました

こんばんは、ひさしぶりですね。

今日、ともだちのヤンさんと一緒にモールにひるごはんを食べに行きました。でも、ともだちのブライッシュさんはアルバイトがあったから、行きませんでした（ざんねんでしたT＿T）。トップグリールでいためものをたべて、おいしかったです。ぼくはトップグリールに行ったことがないけど、ヤンさんは一度行ったことがあります。そして、モールにいる時に新しいどけいのでんちを買って、本屋にいきました。何も買わなかったけど、いろいろな本を見ました。

さいきんべつに何もしません。としょかんで日本語のきょうかしょをひろって、日本語を勉強しました。てつがくのじゅぎょうがおわったけど、しんがくのじゅぎょうはまだおわっていません。

一週間後にうちにかえります。そして、一か月ぐらい後に日本に行きます！でも、まだホストファミリーがしりませんが、とてもわくわくします！

Good evening, it's been a while.

Today, my friend Hanna went with me to the mall to eat lunch. My friend Cameron didn't come though because he had work (so sad T_T). We ate stir fry at Top Grill, which was delicious. I hadn't been to Top Grill before, but Hanna had been once before. Also, while we were at the mall, I bought a new watch battery and went to a book store. I didn't buy anything, but I looked a variety of books.

Lately I haven't really been doing anything. I found a Japanese textbook at the library and have been studying Japanese. My philosophy class has ended, but my theology class hasn't ended yet.

In one week I will go home. And in about one month I go to Japan! However, I don't know my host family yet, but I'm really excited!

カンザスシティ

こんいちは！

先週の火曜日から金曜日までぼくと母と兄はカンザスシティにいました。そこでおばさんとそぶに会った、みんなといっしょにゆっくりしました。水曜日にはじめて「Despicable Me」を見た、かわいくてたのしかたと思います。見たことがない人、見て下さい！

そして、ピーチウェーブでおいしいソフトクリームをたべました。ピーチウェーブはあなたがあなたのサンデーを作るレストランで、たくさんトッピングがあります。たとえば、チョコレートやくだものやもちがあります。カンザスシティにいる時にピーチウェーブに二回いきました。

木曜日の晩、母の大学のルームメートに会って、スピンピザにピザをたべに行きました。おいしいピザのレストランで、そこに二回行ったけど、四年前にはじめて行きました。そのあと、そぶの家にかえて、バナナグラムズをしました。ぜんぶはとてもたのしかったです！

そして、今週の土曜日にノートルダムに行きます！心がおどっています！

Good Afternoon!

Last week from Tuesday until Friday my mom, my older brother, and I were in Kansas City. There I met with my aunt and grandma, and we all relaxed together. On Wednesday I saw Despicable Me for the first time, and I thought it was cute and funny. For those of you who haven't seen it, go watch it!

Also, I ate tasty soft serve ice cream at Peach Wave. Peach Wave is a make your own sundae restaurant, and it has a lot of toppings. For instance, they have chocolate, fruit, and mochi. During my time in Kansas City I went to Peach Wave twice.

Thursday night, we met my mom's college roommate, and we went to Spin Pizza to eat pizza. It is a tasty pizza restaurant, and I've been twice, but I first went 4 years ago. After that, we went back to my grandma's house and played Bananagrams. Everything was lots of fun!

And, this Saturday I go up to Notre Dame! I'm so excited!

プールとアニメ

昨日、母と兄といっしょにプールに行きました。でも、水はちょっときたないから、ぼくはあまりおよぎませんでした。プールのちかくでゆくった、本を読みました。本のなまえは「The Lord of the Rings」でした。えいがを見たことがあるけど、本を読んだことがありませんから、たのしいです。

そして、さいきん「フェアリーテイル」をみました。このアニメのせかいはまほうのせかいで、たくさんまほうつかいがあります。それはたのしくて、おもしろいけど、ちょっと子供らしいと思います。でも、そうわを八話みた、今そうわが八十一話あります。この夏にたくさん見ると思います。

Yesterday, my mom and my older brother went to the pool. But the water was a little murky so I didn't really swim. I relaxed and read a book by the side of the pool. The name of the book was "The Lord of the Rings." I've seen the movie but I haven't read the book before so it's fun to read.

Also, lately I've been watching "Fairy Tail." This anime's world is a world of magic and there are lots of magicians. It's funny and interesting, but I think it's a little childish. However, I have watched 8 episodes and right now there are 81 episodes. I think I'll be watching a lot this summer.

夏休みははじまります！

こんばんは、みなさん！

一週間前夏休みははじまりました。でも、昨日はそつぎょうで、兄はそつぎょう生でした。だから、ぼくとかぞくはノートルダムにいました。先週にもぼくはキャンパスにいましたけど、あまりたのしいことがないので、ちょっとつまらないと思いました。でも、かぞくが来る時はたくさんおもしろいことがあったので、今ぼくはつかれっています。そして、今家にいて、うれしいです。＾＾

三週間ぐらい後夏のじょぎょうをとって、らいがっき九か月ぐらいに日本にりゅう学にいきます。そして、このブログで書きますから、読んで下さい！

Good evening everyone!

One week ago summer break started. But, yesterday was graduation and my older brother was a graduate. Therefore, my family and I were at Notre Dame. Last week I was also on campus, but there weren't too many things to do, so I thought it was a little boring. But when my family came, there was a lot of interesting things to do, and so now I am tired. Also, I am now home and happy. ^^

In about three weeks, I will take summer classes, and next semester I will be in Japan for about 9 months to study abroad. Also, I will write in this blog, so please read it!

ミツワに行きました！

今日、ぼくとJークルブはミツワにかいに行きました。

ミツワでひろごはんをたべて、あめだま「candy」とCDをかいました。ひろごはんの時、ラーメンやバブルティー「bubble tea」をたべました。本屋で、日本のえんぴつとけしゴムとパフューム「Perfume」のCDをかいました。

パフュームはダンスのおんがくをうたいます。

このつぎマールに行きました。でも、行く時ヤンさんはおさけを買いたがっていますけど、時間がありませんでした。マールで私たちアイスクリームを食べたいんですから、コルドストン「Cold Stone」に行きました。そのアイスクリームはとてもおいしいですけど、おなかがまんぷくました「to be full」から、たくさん食べませんでした。四時半ごるちゅうごくりゅうりを食べましたけど、その時にもおなかがまんぷきましたから、たくさん食べませんでした（–_–;）。ばんごはんの後ノートルダム大学にかえりました。

今日はとてもたのしかったです。そして、ぼくの新しいCDが大好きです！今ぼくは聞いています（≧∇≦）

なっとう！

これはなっとうです。そいしそですね？先週末の土曜日、はじめてなっとうをたべました。なっとうはちょっとへんだけど、おいしです。

なっとう smells pretty bad and doesn't look very appetizing, but it actually tastes pretty good. I just ate it plain, but if you put it on rice, I think it would taste really good.

そして、土曜日ぼくとブライッシュさんとブルネットさんとカスタニエダさんといっしゅにダウンタウンサウスベンドに行って、サイゴンで買いました。ぼくはラムネを五本やポッキを三つかいました。ラムネとポッキが好きですけど、あまりもっていませんから、今とてもうれしいです。
